India Briefing is published by Asia Briefing Ltd, and has been produced since 2007. It publishes a wealth of information on India, including India Briefing magazine, our daily online business news service, and books concerning foreign investment into India. India Briefing readers are typically international businessmen interested or involved in India, legal counsels, tax and audit specialists and academics.

Asia Briefing was established by Chris Devonshire-Ellis in 1999, and also publishes titles in China, Vietnam, Russia and Emerging Asia. Chris is the Principal of Dezan Shira & Associates, a specialist foreign direct investment practice that maintains offices throughout India, China and Vietnam. India Briefing's technical material is provided by the practices in-house legal and tax counsel, while Chris also provides regular additional business commentary.
