Oct. 30 - Russia-based energy efficiency consultancy firm, GCE group, announced its entry into the Indian market, where it will be operating in sectors such as oil and gas, power and cement, reports The Hindu.
“We have entered the Indian market with a long-term expansion plan and aim to clock $100 million revenue annually over the next five years,” GCE Group President Alexander Moskalenko said at a press conference.
“GCE India plans to start services in technical risk analysis soon, besides hiring 1,000 people to expand our business. We will also be joining hands with leading Indian firms in the energy sector to function as a consultant and are already in talks with GAIL, ONGC, IOC and BPCL,” he said. “As an energy audit firm, we expertise in reducing the emission of greenhouse gases and advise companies about the measures to conserve energy.
“We already have designing companies in oil and gas and power sectors in Brazil and Russia; and GCE India will be introducing the same services in India also,” Moskalenko added.
